Decarboxylation CBD Tea: By heating cannabis plant material to between 220 and 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes, the carboxyl group is removed from THCa and CBDa, and they are transformed into THC and CBD. This is called decarboxylation, which renders the cannabinoids more accessible.
Spread your dry CBD tea in a baking dish in the oven for 30 minutes, preferably with an oven thermometer, being careful not to heat the plant material up to 280 degrees. This would damage the cannabinoids. No stirring in necessary.
Enjoy this stronger CBD experience with added milk and a sweetener of your choice.
